Radical inclusion has been radically overused! I understand welcoming new people into the community, but a bunch of them running around at our events wreaking havoc is unnecessary and defeats the whole purpose of why we are here. ARE WE HERE TO BABYSIT? I dont think so! Do we come out here to worry about being ripped off? Or getting into confrontations? No way! Its time for a solution. ~ CAN WE PLEASE TRY THIS INSTEAD ~ Radically include a friend or 3 you feel might be ready, that youve shared your experiences with or you feel may already be a natural born Burner. PLEASE? I brought a friend that Ive known for almost 14 years. Over the years Ive shared my experiences with her, and over time, she showed interest and was ready. I witnessed her blossom and grow, and it was beautiful. She knew the rules before she went, she asked questions, and she was inspired! THOSE are the folks we should be radically including, not drug munching candy ravers skipping from camp to camp collecting as many gifts as they can get their hands on. Im sorry, but this has gone too far. If all the Burners get together and buy out all of the tickets early, we may be able to resolve this issue in the future. I knew of a few too many key people that SHOULD have been there that werent due to tickets snatched up too quickly. Do we really want to party with the general public? DO YOU? I dont know, I just thought this was a different intention.
