Rahul Gandhi meets Lalu prasad yadav amid reports of a coalition ahead of Parliamentary elections sk Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) Chief Lalu Prasad today met Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi. This was the second meeting in this month, which took place amid indications that Congress and RJD are working out to form an alliance in Bihar in the next general elections. Prasads meeting is also significant as it took place a day after senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh discussed the issue of possible alliance with Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan. Both the LJP and the RJD have been praising the Congress and made it clear that they want the ruling party to be part of the secular alliance in Bihar which have 40 Lok Sabha seats. Our correspondent reports that under one of the formulae being discussed for tie up, RJD could contest on 20 seats leaving ten for the Congress, eight for LJP and two for NCP.
