Raider Community Breakfast The Board of Education would like to renew its focus on strong communication and collaboration between the school and our community. Together we do accomplish our greatest good. Over the past summer much thought and decision has occurred about how to make this happen. While many of us have lives full of activities at our schools, some do not – yet they remain committed and dedicated to our schools. A way to encourage their continued involvement in and appreciation of our schools would be to host a “Raider Community Breakfast” much like the former Anamosa Chamber Breakfast. The success of this activity will determine the commitment to each, and the strength of our school and the community. We are hosting our first Raider Community Breakfast Thursday morning, August 15, 2013 from 6:30 a.m. until approximately 8:00 a.m. at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa. Please consider this a personal invitation. It is understood that some have summer activities planned and will not be able to attend. Although the thought of breakfast is a very good topic, please take the opportunity to introduce yourself and meet our new Superintendent, Mrs. Lisa Beames, and her husband Joe Beames. If at all possible, Mrs. Beames will introduce any new school employees to the community. The menu is: Breakfast pizzas, muffins, fruit trays, coffee, milk, juice.
