Raila ODINGA in consultation with President Jakaya Kikwete and other international leaders have privately continued to engage with and encourage the people of Southern Sudan through Salva Kiir and Riek Machar to the negotiating table to talk and give each other sincere hand shakes for the sake of peace and development in Southern Sudan. Earlier today, Hon. January Yusuf Makamba who is one of President Kikwetes most trusted ally and a rising star in Tanzania’s political scene and an influential leader of the ruling party, Chama Cha Mapinduzi was hosted (3rd foto) by the peoples president at his private residence in Nairobi to update each other on Southern Sudan peace talks and most importantly East African Cooperation. They believe that EAC is not EAC with the seclusion of one or certain nations within the block. Raila Odinga has (always) rejected deployment of soldiers to the African youngest nation as proposed or pushed by war mongering Uhuru Kenyatta and Yoweri Museveni and instead chose to chat the way of diplomacy whose fruits have been seen. As the Chairman of EAC and IGGAD, tell me even the littlest thing Uhuru Kenyatta has achieved so far apart from updates on his Facebook page about how he is being seen off and received by William Ruto at airports to and from regional gossips of who should be secluded for EAC?
