Rain changes everything at Silverstone in final practice before qualifying. Saturday mornings FP3 session saw the rain that had been forecast arrive and make for some dramatic changes to the timings. For the first time this year Seb Vettel was fastest with teammate Ricciardo second as the Renault powered Red Bull seemed the handle the tricky conditions well. Following the Red Bull duo and only 4 tenths back was the Lotus pairing of Pastor Maldonado and Romain Grosjean also powered by Renault engines. Saubers Sutil was 5th fastest followed by Kvyat in his STR Renault before the first of the Mercedes powered cars, the McLarens of Magnussen and Button followed by Botas in his Williams. It is difficult to say how this will effect the qualifying sessions starting shortly because both the factory Mercedes chose not to run in the session.
