Rain down here was unreal last night, 8 inches in 10 hours, started at midnight and did not stop until 10:00am Lighting was unreal all night long. Waited it out and was able to get out at 11:00am today on a trip on the Rock.. Lake is on the rise big time, they are running a strong 3 generators and the lake is just passed 920.1 (normal pool is 915.0) This pretty much jumped 3 to 4 feet in the last 48 hours. Did not bother the bass, still hanging down in the 30 to 35 foot range. Had 7 nice keeper spots and another 10 shorts in 4 hours. Even went up shallow throwing Jigs in the flooded bushes, but just not there yet. Will be soon for sure alot of bait fish running around in the flooded bushes at the old bank line. Back out again for a evening run on the rock. Will let you know how the evening bite goes! FISH ON!
