Rainbow Gathering! I have to say, hands down, and up, and all around, that this has been the greatest most life-affirming, blissful, beautiful, and wonderful week of my life so far! The Rainbow Family of Living Light, celebrating peace instead of war on the week of the 4th of July, co-created a dreamscape of a neo-tribal rainbow village, the perfect platform for paradigm shifting performance, play, and passionate open-hearted genuine living in love. In the beautiful Uintah mountains of Utah, lush green fields, blooming with flowers, tall trees, and butterflies everywhere, we played music around the fire under the stars or in the TP every night, we bathed in the river, we ate delicious nutritious food in the woods, and we constantly yelled from amidst big group hugs, We Love You! I also got to co-facilitate three Generation Waking Up Healing, Empowerment and Transformation Councils with my new dear friend Toreye Friend. Ive never felt so confident as a leader and facilitator of transformational experiences before. We started our workshops with fun activities to get to know each other and ourselves on a deeper level, and then moved to council discussion about who we are as a generation and people alive today, what challenges we face, and what the solutions, mixing up discussion with engaging activities. We ended each session by going outside of the TP and exclaiming our personal mission statement, as I played guitar in the background. It was amazing to experience how profound and transformational of an experience these workshops were for everyone involved, and to constantly get positive feedback afterwards! I also had the best musical experiences of my life almost every night, reaching new levels of my musical and expression, freestyling, guitar playing, singing my songs and other songs people could sing along to, and getting into divine states of consciousness through the sonic vibrations.
