Rainy Days and Mondays Then shall we know if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth. During a rainy day I heard the Lord say “remember the rain!” Hos 6:3 We were going back in forth to Arkansas and I had never seen so much rain. It says the Lord comes to us like the rain and in this scripture the bible dictionary defines the rain as a violent rain. The Lord comes to us in strength, using force and eager to assert the will of our Father. I think of this every time it rains and I know God’s word is true. Rainy days and Mondays remind me of how faithful my Father is and I am thankful for a sovereign God. Last Monday we walked in the rain and as it touched my face I I thanked him for coming to me. The rain waters the seed to bring forth the harvest and our Father never turns his head, not even in our personal tragedies. He is faithful, loving, and kind and he can be trusted with the cares of all of his creation. Praising him with all of my heart, Gayle
