Ralph Wrote via Punch Online: First, I have NO political leanings. Secondly, I would be careful not to distract people from the economic disaster ‘red-flags’ which I see flashing everywhere. If PDP ‘must’ have a Southern Christian as its Presidential flag bearer, they can ask President Goodluck Jonathan to step aside and bring in Donald Duke (Ex-governor of Cross River). I am from the South/South and the richest region in Nigeria; hence I have nothing personal against President Goodluck Jonathan. I believe he is a decent man, despite his weaknesses including the overbearing and meddlesome nature of his spouse - Dame Patience. But Nigeria is currently in a crisis. President Goodluck Jonathan can retire home peacefully having held many offices in the land. From my heart of hearts, the best man for the presidency is Governor Fashola. Any pairing that involves him is a good one – a welcome development. I know the wolves and social media spine-doctors will come attacking, but I speak out of a very deep and sincere love for Nigeria –the only country we can call ours’.
