Ramadan* is just around the corner which means its almost time for the UWA Muslim Students Association ANNUAL COMMUNITY IFTAR! Bigger and better than it has every been before, the MSA cordially invites friends of other faiths, the UWA family and the wider Perth community to join in breaking our fasts on the evening of Friday the 11th of July in Winthrop Undercroft (UWA). Tickets: $15 for members, $20 for non-members and FREE ENTRY for our non-Muslim guests. Seats are limited so be quick to reserve places for yourself and your guests. Dinner will be served and guests will have the opportunity to experience the spirit of Ramadan and find out about the spiritual practices that Muslims observe during this blessed month. Well also have the opportunity of being addressed by our esteemed speaker, Sheikh Yahya Ibrahim - not to be missed! *Ramadan - the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, marks the beginning of fasting.
