Ramayana-184 (The tiding conveyed): Sugreevas conjecture was like nectar to Ramas ears.They eagerly awaited the arrival of vanaraas.In a short while Hanuman and Angada leading ,the Vanaras marched to the presence of their King.who with Raama and lakshmana was awaiting their arrival. hanuman bowed said: Seen have I the Goddess of purity, your queen .She is safe and well in Lanka.I salute her from here across space. And he turned southwards and offered worshipful salutation. Dear vanara friends, exclaimed the prince of ayodhya,tell me where exactly Sita is . How is she?How did you manage to see her? Tell me everything in detailHis eager enquiries came quick upon one another.Other vanaraas turned to Hanuman who stood behind.,and asked him to narrate all that he had seen and done. hanuman egan to tell tell the the tale .With his unrivalled courage and strength and single-handed ,he had performed a mighty task ; and yet he did not push himself forward in to the presence of prince rama or king sugreeva.but gave precedence to Angada and the aged Jaambavaan. and the others.he explained how he crossed the hundred yojana across the sea and reached Lanka shore. And then how he found Sita in the Asoka vana. Hanuman told Rama about the story of a crow which disturbed her while Rama was sleeping and later found it to be a Rakshasa .And when she lost her red tilaka due to perspiration ,Rama replaced it with red ocher rubbed out of a rock.. She bade me tell you that she would sruggle and keep alive for a month,but then she would perish at the hands of Ravana ,or she would seek her own release of death.she bade me convey her respects to the Vanara king .Now let us think and make preparations at once for proceeding to lanka to redeem the princess. saying this ,he handed the sikhaa -mani crest jewel of sita to the Prince. Raama took the jewel from Hanumaans hand and at the sight of it fainted,racked beyond bearing between extremes of joy of joy and grief. He pressed the jewel to his odom and cried ,O Lakshmana ! Again he embraced Hanumaan and said,Heroic son of vaayu,blessed are you who have seen Sita .i too see her now before me .you have ,indeed ,brought her to me. .Then rama wanted to hear again and again everything about Sita and each word spoken by her. hanumaan narrated everything in detail.At the end rama told to hanumaan. The deed done by Hanumaan none else in the world could even conceive of attempting- crossing the sea,entering Lanka protected by ravana and his formidable hosts and accomplishing the task set him by his king not only fully but beyond the fondest hopes of all.O, hanuman ,let this embrace of mine stand as an acknowledgement of all that my heart feels of gratitude for your great service to me. So saying while his whole being thrilled with grateful love ,he took Hanumaan in to his arms and clasped him to his breast. He said Sugreeva, Hanuman has saved my life by comforting Sita with hope in Lanka
