Ran a very easy 11k in 5108 averaging 438/km pace.. Really hot and dry weather conditions. As regards to the Venice Moonlight Half Marathon, it seems that I have no other option but to give in to this moment and rest completely till race day on Saturday night... Hopefully I shall present myself on the starting line and take it from there. I have no regrets whatsoever as everyone knows my training has gone really great and that the two competitions I have taken part went fantastically well. I did my utmost best to prepare for this race and achieve a super time... however against my will and unexpectedly I am down with a virus which has attacked my digestive system and now my nerves and muscles.. I know that all that training wont vanish or go away and shall come back from this moment stronger than ever before.. Big thanks to all of you for the messages and texts of well wishes - I highly appreciate your kind support.. x
