Ran the 2nd Chance 5K in Fort Worth this morning on TEAM IAN along with Mavericks Mascot Champ! True to form, Champ horsed around as I pounded the pavement In Full Mascot Gear pushing my twin cubs in their stroller. Not my fastest 5K today, with a 28.30 finish at 9:10 minute per mile pace. There were 17 runners on TEAM IAN (my best friend Robert Boudwins dads double lung donor) up from 5 last year. There were 1,000 total runners this year, up from 300 last year. We hope to triple both again next year! Thank you to CHAMP and especially the Heidemann family! We had a blast! Organ donation saves lives! #donatelifetexas.org
