Ran to the UGA emergency vet clinic last night (not ready to talk - TopicsExpress

Ran to the UGA emergency vet clinic last night (not ready to talk about it) but I tell you what....my sensitive Scorpio souls have either been traumatized for life or they will be your future warriors when it comes to animal emergencies. Those of us who grew up around farms and such saw life for what it was....a temporary state. One in which we enter the world and exit it......and hope for the best in-between. I remember a few years ago when I had to bury my little Jack Russell dog. I was so grateful for my Leo friend who came and dug the grave for me. My facebook friend Jessie Frarys Mother had just lost a horse on her farm and told me that watching a horse go down is one of the hardest things to do (perhaps my FB friend Candace Hawkes might agree). She told me....the hole you have to dig is way, way bigger and so you have a lot of time to grieve while you try and get it done. Okay...Huikira our doggie is fine....one of our kitties....has gone to the great fun zone in the sky. I know my neighbor Sabrina Y. S. Sewell just went through this sort of trauma not long ago. The hardest part is seeing them struggle....knowing that death is coming. I hate that for all of us .who have been there with animals and people. Lord when it is my time to go...please take me quickly in the garden (like you did Pa-paw). Not because I am afraid to struggle...I just dont want those who love me to see it. My adoring husband (if he were not working like crazy this week) would come to FB and say......Stef, you dont have to worry about that, you are down to only like one person who still likes you) Hee, hee, hee....lol. I do want to share that another friend told us the story of losing her dog that was very close to her. She was single at the time and she buried her dog in a cold and blowing rainstorm. She said she was crying and heaving and an emotional wreck as she was digging the grave. She said it was one of the hardest things she had ever had to do. Then....she woke up the next morning to find that her other sweet dog had spent the rest of the night digging up the dead dog and had brought him back up to the porch. Oh Lord Jesus....life....aint it something else? Looking forward to my vacation starting tomorrow.
