Ranch-hand “WORD for Today” Day 3, Psalm119:17-24; Devotionally Jesus , You show Your goodness to Your Ranch-hand, Your volunteer day-labor, So that this cowboy may live to obey Your WORD, found in my Ranch-Manual. You Jesus, open this Ranch-hands eye so that this cowboy can see all the wonderful things in Your teaching, found in my Ranch-Manual. Your Ranch-hand feels like a stranger visiting here on earth, because of my walk with You Jesus. This cowboy needs to understand and experience Your command to be in Loving-relationship with You and those in my life, to find the joy of living on this earth. You won’t keep Your truth and joy from this cowboy. Your Ranch-hand has this desire, like hunger pains, to know and understand Your law to live properly as Your cowboy should. You Jesus, tell the proud who practice selfishness, how compassionate You are with them while they ignore Your Way to live before You. All those selfish-living ones who refuse to obey Your WORD, have chosen to live eternally separate from You Jesus. You Jesus won’t let Your Ranch-hand be ashamed and embarrassed for following the Way of my Ranch-Manual. Even when people of authority make false accusations about Your Ranch-hand, this cowboy will continue to be Your volunteer day-worker, and daily continue to study Your Way found in my Ranch-Manual. Your rules on living properly before You Jesus make this Ranch-hand happy. Those rules also give cowboy good advice.
