Randall, Man-made climate change is one of the most serious issues facing the world today. Congress needs to act to reduce carbon pollution and build a homegrown clean energy industry so the United States can lead the world in creating the green-collar jobs of the future. Theres one senator in particular I think you should know about whos doing just that -- Senator Tom Udall, running for re-election in New Mexico. Tom has a proven record as a champion for our environment. Hes proposed a smart Renewable Electricity Standard that would create jobs, reduce pollution, and save consumers money. And hes helped raise awareness for the threat that man-made climate change will have on our communities if Congress does nothing. We need climate change champions like Tom. Thats why our grassroots team needs to mobilize now to make sure hes got the resources he needs to win in November. His team needs to raise $125,000 before the FEC deadline two days from today.
