Randall, Sometimes a girl needs her friends to brag on her. From the beginning of this race for governor, Heather has said she’s not running to make history, she’s running to make a difference. And what a difference she will make! But can I just say how excited I am about the barriers well break from her historic win? Let me tell you, this year’s gubernatorial election is a BIG deal. Not just because Heather would be the first female governor of Maryland, but because she could also be the first openly gay governor in the history of the United States. That’s beyond awesome – something I never dreamed would be possible in my lifetime. We can’t let this moment pass us by.
