These early months are vital to everything well be able to do this fall. So we need to punch our May ticket before the end of the month to stay on track, and time is running out. Marys Passport to the Middle Class is a crucially important reform package that will lower student loan interest rates and restore the power of Pell Grants. It shows why winning this election is vitally important for the people of Louisiana. But in order to win, we cant count on help from billionaires like the Koch brothers. Thats why we need to hit our monthly and quarterly grassroots goals -- and we only have a few more days to bring in the last $14,035 toward our $35,000 grassroots goal for May. Contribute $3 today to help stamp our passport to victory. We must reach our May grassroots goal before the Saturday night deadline. While Mary is focused on implementing policies that help hardworking Louisiana families (and doing an impressive job of it at that), I only have one job: making sure we have the resources to organize a winning campaign. The Koch brothers are putting hundreds of millions of dollars into races around the country this year, backing anti-middle class candidates who wont push to lower college costs for students and families. Their ideal Louisiana candidates wont fight like Mary does to reduce flood insurance rates. And their candidates certainly wont have the Senate seniority Mary has that enables her to create more high-paying jobs for our state. But we dont need their backing, because we have you. Its been so inspiring to see grassroots supporters from all walks of life coming together to contribute just a few dollars and help make sure we always reach our goals.
