Randall, Yesterday, we announced our endorsement of Senator Brian Schatz in Hawaii -- a Social Security hero. But ActBlue had a problem with a service they use, so some pages didnt load for people who tried to donate. Everything should be good now, so lets try this one more time: Please donate $3 to help re-elect Brian Schatz to the U.S. Senate! The Huffington Post, AP, and Honolulu Star Advertiser all reported on our endorsement because PCCC members can make a huge impact in this race between an Elizabeth Warren Democrat and a corporate Democrat. Thanks! -- Michael Snook, PCCC Chief Information Officer YESTERDAYS ENDORSEMENT EMAIL: Today, we are proud to announce our endorsement of U.S. Senator Brian Schatz for re-election in Hawaii. When we asked our 4,285 Hawaii members who they support, the answer was overwhelming: By 4 to 1 they support bold progressive Brian Schatz. When we asked thousands of PCCC members why we should endorse Sen. Schatz, the top reason was that he is a Social Security hero! Brian Schatz was one of the first U.S. senators to endorse expanding Social Security benefits. His more conservative Democratic primary opponent refuses to rule out cuts. Will you donate $3 to Brian Schatz to help keep this bold progressive in the Senate? There were other top reasons PCCC members supported Sen. Schatz. In addition to being a Social Security hero, Brian Schatz is one of the Senate’s top leaders on the climate crisis. He recently led an all-night Senate debate that made big news and thrust progressive solutions into the national conversation. Like Elizabeth Warren, Sen. Schatz is a true partner to progressives. He recently came to our PCCC candidate training to mentor new candidates. And tonight, he will welcome our PCCC team into his campaign headquarters as we start immediately organizing volunteers on his behalf. Will you donate $3 to Brian Schatz to help keep this bold progressive in the Senate? Thanks for being a bold progressive. -- Stephanie Taylor, PCCC co-founder Want to support our work?
