Random Acts of Christmas Kindness with some of our 4th and 5th grade kids. They handed out $25 to 3 people at the North 27th St. HyVee. One man refused to take the money, so they gave it to a lady in the same isle, only to find out she was homeless. She asked for a hug, and got one, and then a big group one. Then they purchased snack items and took them down to Fire Station #1 and sang Jingle Bells. They got invited in for a GREAT tour, and sang Jingle Bells again to some of the firemen upstairs. A FANTASTIC experience for the 6 kids, and their mothers!
