Random Farm Post-It 7-7-14 Udder Chaos turns to understanding The new Momma with one kid, her left udder and teat were still quite swollen this morning.. she did not particularly want to stand for therapy (warm water and peppermint oil compress and massage.. IKR. go figure, :-) and got the machine on her.. milked her out for the fourth time in 11 hours she did fine, went right back to the kid (Arthur - after the storm he was born during) Goat #2 kids grown, good milker. KIDS #2 two kids, sold Momma and 2 siblings away, need to feed them. HELLUVA time getting it to happen yesterday today .... like budda .. found her teats, latched on, Surrogate only mildly annoyed. Now, milk equipment hygiene and onward to the rest of the day so much less likely I will stroke out today I think LOL
