Random Notes from a 9’ x 10’ room. As the night moves towards midnight I scan the TV channels for an immediate escape. PBS, TNT, USA, and MeTV something will make me pause for a bit. I’m rather picky in my desperation, no sitcoms, no action films, and no sophomoric comedies. Where are all the good dramas with real dialogue. Now searching the second string, Oxygn, Travel, AMC, and TLC. Still no luck, I nearly cut my wrists as I passed a glimpse of the Kardashians. It hurts writing their name. HGTV has gone so down hill; Enough of the competition shows and please get some decent designers and decorators. While I’m at it the History Channel needs more real history and less swamps, frozen truckers, loggers, and pawn shops. Oh no I found one of those Ghost Hunter shows on of all places the Travel Channel. I’m so scared! Boo! Moving on back to PBS+ - I love Elvis but I don’t need a reminder that Elvis from Hawaii live was 40 yrs ago. If I see one more commercial telling me about urine leakage, Testosterone replacement, Erectile dysfunction, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure or Anti Depressant medications I will need a Twelve Step program. I can create my own ailments all on my own; Thank You. I now have carpel tunnel, cause remote abuse. Ooooo The Weather Channel. I’m hooked.
