Random Thoughts: Omg its getting close to our trip to Florida and the Bahamas! Im so excited to go on my first cruise!!! Im not doing a New Years Resolution.... I never stick to those. The changes I wanted to make, I did early! So Im a few days ahead of the game lol. Make it Happen is my motto, so thats my plan! I brought in the New Year at home with a house full of people! We laughed and laughed and I needed that more than they will all know. The night flew by and before we knew it, it was 5 am.... And I hardly had anything to drink, so today I feel good! Grieving is hard. People go through the different stages as they try to put back together the emptiness thats left behind. The holidays seem to magnify that. My grandmother is completely lost without my grandfather. Watching him take his last breaths was nothing compared to watching the drastic changes made to her after he left. The dementia has progressed very quickly. We had to put her into a home that allows her to live a semi assisted life. Shes not happy and is extremely confused. The home specializes in dementia patients, so its where she needs to be. Im hoping 2015 brings some peace to her as well as my mom & uncle who need help with her. Im a straight forward kind of gal. If I want something, I charge forward! If I have an issue, I deal with the person directly. For this reason, my life doesnt have a lot of drama... And I love it that way, so I will continue to eliminate any people who cause drama from my pages in the new year! 2014 came and went very quickly. As I reflect, I smile about the first 3/4 of it, then not so much the last 1/4. Its been difficult for many personal reasons that I dont share, but I made it through it. It seems that things are on the down hill now, so I feel like Im rolling into 15 more prepared than I was for 14.... Thats exciting and I cant wait to see whats to come! I hope everyone was safe this holiday season! I plan to spend the day with my favorite people! Im thinking a fun day is a perfect way to start the new year!
