Random Thoughts On Things Hainanese....In my previous thought i mentioned the Hainan Association in Toronto,Canada.The Hainanese Disaporia i far and wide in Southern California,New York( USA),United Kiingdom,Vietnam,Germany,South Africa,Hong Kong,Australia,Indonesia,Thailand,Vietnam,Europe etc.About 14 years ago whilst I was in Brisbae ,Australia I chance to Meet A Singaporean AMr Wong Ah Dong(not realted to me) who emigrated from the Christmas island to Australia.What a small world and a a joy when we discovered we were Hainanese! We have a brief exchange of words.The lights of the Hainanese people shine across the world.A story was told in the shipping industry,where a South African (dark skinned) who speak fluent Hainanese ,when asked how he learnt to speak the Hainan dialect.He told his father was a sailor from Hainan and mother is South African .whata a surprise.One can search the various overseas Hainan Associations in Google/Yahoo.Better still join THE HAINANESE CLAN(fACEBOOK)..which is truly the onlyGlobal Hainanese Group around with ambassadors throughout the world.this is for all who are proud to be Hainanese or associated with one. a FACEBOOK Group for all Hainanese around the world, regrdless where you resides!
