Random acts of kindness still exist!! Car started overheating in Tuscaloosa due to a wreck on the interstate and being stuck in traffic. Finally was able to get off at an exit. Sat there in the parking lot of the Pilot trying to figure out what I was going to do. Called Jason, who is 3 hours away at work running calls. Bless his heart, he was worried to death about what I was going to do. Got a call from Kelli, who offered to drive all the way down there to come and get me. WOW. Now thats a friend!! Now, in the middle of my frantic display of panic, a meatball sandwich-eating truck driver (it about KILLED me when he said hang on Im about to lose a meatball-too funny!!) comes over to help. He doesnt just try; he did. Jason got free for a minute, got on FaceTime, and directed Sandwich Trucker on what to do, and he and Jason fixed the car over the phone and got me on the road again. WOW. I would still be sitting there waiting for Kelli to get there if it wasnt for Sandwich Trucker. What a nice man to take his time to help fix the car while he ate supper. So..with all that said, Sandwich Trucker who helped me at the Pilot gas station in Tuscaloosa, THANK YOU. May you be blessed and rewarded for your good deeds. And I will no longer assume that most truck drivers are serial killers due to watching Suspect Zero.
