Random tech geek thoughts. Google is showing my amazon order status in my search results, its really unnerving, and annoying if Ive already gotten them. Instagram appears to be suggesting contacts from gmail ,or linked in or something, a couple days ago it suggested an ex-contractor who I am not connected with as far as I know on linked in or facebook...also unnerving. Today, got a silicon case for the Ipad Air 2 that compliments the tempered glass screen protector, and will help protect it in the kitchen lab adventures. But now I have an Ipad Earth...the thing weighs about as much as the original ipad... Funny how we strive to get lighter thinner devices then have to add back all the weight to get something useable in the real world. I noticed with the dated Evo4G too. I have grown so used to the silicon protector as a part of it, but now that I have to change batteries 2 times a day I keep being reminded that its silicon shell is not what it really how impressively small it is, but yet that smallness is not good enough for real world use. Same issue holds true for Iphone with Morphy power adapters..is that an Orca whale in your pocket?...iHumpback phone? I think someone should make an ipad case with a facehugger feel. As thats kinda what it feels like using it, its displaced my normal multimonitor use quite a bit, and my vision/neck are certainly feeling it. If you get odd messages on facebook from me its due to the shadow state of guessing what is intended and history of corrections, that when I hit submit get bulk dumped somehow...my guess is the app is using Safari for storing this state, as other apps like Instagram dont have that issue. At times when playing videos it wont let me out, so I have to kill the app. Shaking the ipad for undoing text is a bit heavy handed (literally), and while the apple keyboard has a physical undo button its wierdly not always available in some apps, which baffles me. I end up going through about 80% of the battery in a given day with reasonably heavy use (suggesting a reasonably optimal battery capacity),and filling up 15 gigabytes of video and photos in about 2 weeks. Impressive step up from my phone where Id fill up 16 gig about every 3 months. I really love the step up in quality the iPad has over my dated phone, and the ability to do depth of field. All the photos I take on food are done on the IPad, typically from setup, to shoot, to titing and corection in under 10 minutes...15 minutes top. If I did that with my pc + photoshop it would take at least half that to boot photoshop up, upload photos etc.
