Random thought for the day....Am I the only one who thinks raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour,(what the protesters want), would really damage our economy? Sure, fastfood would get outrageous on their prices, but overall, skilled labor jobs would become meaningless due to wages being non competitive. all fastfood associated businesses,(that supply fastfood joints), would have to raise their wages to keep the skilled labor. In all, by the time its done, minimum wage would be meaningless still, but a Big Mac meal would be $20! Not to mention, if a certified person at a job were making $14 an hour,(because they are certified), and the local burger joint makes $15.....ya see my point? Not trying to start a minimum wage debate, but when you "protest" something...look at the overall picture! Your rent will go up with everything else!
