Random thought ( well, not really. Inspired by a pic I just saw on Instagram, and other stuff.) Beware. FB rant, nonetheless. OKAY. My sister always says, When a man comes to a woman when hes ready, THATS when you want to go for it with him. Somethin like that. I saw a pic where a beautiful woman was down on her knee proposing to her man. Sigh. Why did this bother me? I mean really... I am the furthest from your traditional lady-cookin-cleanin-demure-soft-voiced-polished type. I am aggressive, have an attitude AND refuse to accept any ounce of being controlled ( baggage, but thats a whole NUTHA story!), plus a bunch of utha stuff that is not traditional. This gorgeous woman, proposing to her man bothered me because I have seen too many times, when a man really loves a woman. When a man loves a woman, he changes, and cooks, and works 16 hours a day, in the heat, and speaks to her with kindness, even when its hard. When he loves her, he delights in being a better man than he was last year. He makes it his business to see her smile, as she does the same for him. So, proposing to her, is not a big deal, at all. Its just a formality. There just seems to be something to allowing men to do certain things the Man way. Idk. Men, what yall think?
