Random whispers: In my home amid the forested hills I slept staring outside my window at the wide blue expanse with some familiar and some alien gas bulbs, some remained fixed at their place and a few floated in the sky like seagulls in the ocean. They all have story of their own, I thought, may be a love story of being together since generations. Little drops fell from sky on the green conifer, few drops showered on my face and I welcomed the first rain with a grin. I held my pillow in closet and closed my eyes to slumber in solace. With the first rays of sun on my face I opened my eyes, the water drops on dark green leafs shone in gold as the delicious sun fell on them, a stream of water rising from the muddy road splashed on the car window as it escaped my sight within seconds, birds made familiar sounds and a few chirpings were totally alien to me but they still blessed me with comfort and appeared beautiful. Before I could see more, my phone rang to distress and I was slapped by the reality. All that was beautiful was just a dream. How easy it is to forget all the woes and worries, I assured myself. Away from the mundane affairs, the world just moved with freedom from strife. For few moments I had really forgotten if there existed another world with wars, war for life, war for success, war for wealth and of course, war for love. Is love even a feeling to fight for? I wondered. My dreams are the only happenings to comfort me at times. I have been an alibi in real. And now, I have learned from my slip-ups. Are we so unimaginative? No matter how engaged and chaotic our life is, we can always dream for something to calm our soul that has been living in grieve.
