Randy Parrishs garage losing a few parking spaces to the new trail that crosses it at South School Avenue. The city strangely claimed a right-of-way across a portion of Parrishs property instead of using a right of way across S. School at 8th Street or the one at 9th Street. Using the right of way at 9th would have eliminated the need for a bridge across Tanglewood Branch. Using 8th Street right of way would have sent trail directly to an existing bridge across Spout Spring Branch, eliminating the need for both the new bridge across Spout Spring and the new bridge across Tanglewood Branch behind Parrishs garage and behind El Camino restaurant. The cost of those two bridges could have built a few extra miles of trail to the south.
