Randys best friend Rich just welcomed his first grandchild, Ava. She is the daughter of his youngest, Kristin. So this is a very positive event for the family. Some of you may remember what happened to his oldest daughter Sarah last year....a tumor burst in her brain and she had to have emergency surgery. Its been a long road to recovery, so I was very happy that she was able to come visit too. Her speech is the way I remember it, bright, cheerful and chatty. She was wearing wedge heeled boots, so she is getting around pretty well. The one arm that was affected the most still has challenges... She cant use her hand much, but can raise her arm. Her cancer treatments seem to be going well. Ginger got to meet her first baby. She seemed fascinated. I caught her giving Avas toes a careful lick. So cute, but I missed the shot. She had fun playing with Rich, barking with the neighbors dogs, and exploring the yard - especially the pond. It was a really nice visit.
