Ranger update! My phone was dead and Ive had computer issues, but I am here now! I will answer messages as time allows. I spent an hour and a half with Ranger this morning. Im going back out to him after this update. He is scared and confused, but not too scared to wag his tail when I approach him!! HE HAS A TATOO INSIDE HIS EAR! A letter J or a number 1 made with small dots. His teeth look to be about 5 years. Ill let my vet decide. He doesnt want to have anything to do with a leash, but Im afraid to let him loose in the yard right now. He freezes. I tied him to a tree so I could clean up after him in the pool house (like a large shed). He spent time last night trying to find a way out, but didnt damage anything. He is interested in hot dogs and food, but wont take it from me yet. His coat looks amazing!! He has a little mange left on the inside of his back legs, but not much to be concerned about. No fleas or ticks because I have been giving him Nexgard flea/tick pills and they work!!! He is thin, but doesnt look anything like the dog I met on July 17! Look at my banner, he was a skeleton wrapped in skin back then! If you have offered to help with his vetting, he will go to Hope Animal Clinic later today. They are expecting him. He will be neutered, Heartworm tested, skin scrape, receive vaccines, rabies, Bordetella and a few days of boarding while all of this is done. Praying for another miracle and that he tests negative.
