You would be speaking to customers realising the sales potential of existing customers and use proactive selling techniques to extend the customer base. Responsibilities: Identifying new customers Proactively prospect new customers in accordance with line management guidelines in order to increase business within your region. Using the existing database to contact prospective customers in order to develop incremental business in line with KPIs Identify & pursue new prospect customers in a friendly, professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines To negotiate a sales price within the agreed authority structure to maximise long term profitability Customer Retention To assist current customers in a polite and professional manner in order to maintain the customer base. To negotiate with existing Customers on price in order to achieve the sale gaining the best possible margin. Deliver Excellent Customer Service To communicate effectively at all times to both internal and external customers. To ensure that the customer requirements are met in a friendly, professional manner at all times. To log and provide an effective response and resolution to customer enquiries and requests for information. Data Entry To ensure the accurate entry of all data on the Sales system.
