Rant of the day......Just to put some perspective on this domestic violence issue in the NFL. Its gotten to the point of hysteria and its seems to me at least that most folks have lost the ability to actually think for themselves and keep this issue in the proper perspective. There have been FOUR guys arrested this year out of 1696 players on active rosters. That comes out to be .2% of all players in the league. While this is a serious issue and those deemed guilty need to be punished, this just goes to show how the media manipulates issues and blows things out of proportion. It also illustrates how easy the public grabs onto issues and expresses outrage without actually thinking things through. For all these folks so outraged over the NFL, im sure that there have been women in your communities who have been beaten, where is the outrage for those women? Just goes to show most people are followers and not thinkers, look beyond the headlines, and research these issues yourself, you will find the media really does not always give the real truth. The issue is society not the NFL, the crime rate among those players is actually lower than the general public. THINK FOR YOURSELF!
