Rant of the day for all my biker friends and anyone interested; just finished watching the motorcycle chase scenes in Mission Impossble 2. Ridicules! a) how did Tom Cruise smoke the back tire without his foot even near or on the back brake pedal? All while he grabbed the front lever and dived the forks, but didnt lock the front wheel?? b) How did both riders find the tools, and knobby tires in the middle of the sand dunes?! Not to mention the time! c) exploding bike in mid-air from a leak in the gas tank miles after the bullet made the hole,not at the moment of spark? d) one handed steering in slides is hard enough to believe without firing a gun at the same time! e) Ducati windscreen deflects,by shattering, a bullet from a 9mm?? Dont even get me started on the sound of the Ducs pipes or lack of gear shifting noise! Pluuu=eeeezzzz! I know, I know.. its just a movie and its not supposed to be real. A little respect for the machines and riders would have been nice though. Especially since Cruise is an avid biker. HA! :)
