Rant of the month: I cant stand people who disrespect the army national guard, army reserves, air national guard, and marine corps reserves because we are part time military. Did you know that over half of the military force that has been sent overseas the past 10 years have been guard and reserves? Did you know that the Arkansas national guard has been deployed A LOT? If youre even intelligent enough to know about D-Day and the Normandy invasion of 5 beaches, did you know that many of the units that invaded France were national guard units and there are even memorials at beaches such as Omaha Beach honoring those guard units? Did you know the national guard was established in 1636 as opposed to the active army in 1776? So you dont respect national guard and reserves? Many have deployed multiple times and served in the active military. Now they have families they want to be with or like me, want to finish college with a degree before deploying. Can you blame us? We all went through the same training and serve the same country. When natural disasters hit or an attack from another country, who do you think responds to that? Thats right, national guard and reserves. So to you worthless excuse of a human, why dont you go to the family of a part time soldier, marine or airmen who was killed in action and tell them you dont respect part time military personnel? See what they say. P.S. If youre dissing the part time military people and your not in the military because you dont have the balls to join, well then you are a piece of trash. P.S.S. You sir are no genius.
