Rant time-- exactly 8 minutes before going 10-42 this morning at 0552, I drive past a little old lady with her tail lights out. So being the nice officer that I am, I conduct a informative traffic stop to let her know that her tail lights are out. As soon as I get up to the car, I smell booze coming from the car. Little old lady refused FSTs, refused breath sample test. Now, I had to get a warrant to draw blood. FINALLY get a warrant at 0900. While waiting for the nurse to draw blood, the old lady throws up on my boots and told me that Im violating her rights and that her friends-friends- cousin is a lawyer and shell be contacting them to sue me for excessive force. Someone give me a donut.
