Rant time: Am I the only one who actually LOVED the prequel trilogy?! I mean yes, Jar Jar is TOTALLY unnecessary, but Anakins story is compelling, drawing you in. The score is PHENOMENAL, and Duel of the Fates is widely considered one of John Williams greatest compositions. Think about it. There are many rich moments of storytelling (setting aside Jar Jars story and a lot about Episode Is Anakin), the cgi from 2 and 3 still hold up just as much today as they did on release day, and the fights are intricate, well thought-out, and believable. You feel the weight of every hit. You see the growing fatigue of the characters. You see the aggression and emotion behind every movement.
