Rant time.....On most occasions I dont discuss my work on social media unless its to praise a fellow worker, however, today is quite the exception... I arrived at work knowing that we were working short of staff with only 3 dispatchers to find that one had called in sick. While the over night crew had found someone to cover and told me he would be in as soon as he could I told all three of them one would have to stay over until he arrived. It was the deer in the headlight look from all of them....then at 0550 hours they all three walked out on us. Seriously, Kelsey, Kristen and Heather....no thought of leaving us short.....or the officers and firefighters safety.....WTF.
