#Rants, #Allegations and #Controversy Today i finally got my copy of our year book. I dont know about those who already got their copy, but it felt like i got cheated on. I dont mean to be unappreciative of the efforts put on the book but considering the price and given the time spent to finish it, it did not meet my expectations. It was not the size i expected. Not only that, it did not contain the words of what my memorable learning is, nor did it contain what my real motto is. My friends also are dealing with the same problem. Worse, my most memorable learning is exactly the same with my other fellow graduate (VERBATIM) Come on? seriously? Some may say that its foolish to react this way, but you see the purpose of a yearbook is to have something to get you remembered by. Im pretty sure you want to be remembered by what you did or what you wrote and not what others wrote about you. Right? It is just disappointing that after exerting my efforts and pouring my emotions to make my statements memorable, truthful and heartfelt, it did not reflect on the yearbook i hold today. On the argument that i passed the information sheet late giving rise to the different statements appearing on the book, Sorry to disappoint you but I passed that sheet early. Would i even bother writing this if i know i made such a mistake? Im not writing this just because i am purely disappointed, I am writing this to avoid re-occurrence of the same mistake. I am writing this because I dont want the next batch of graduates to feel what Im feeling right now. I do understand that SLCs coffee table book was prioritized which may be a contributory reason for the mistake. But I paid my yearbook for a reason. I shall get what i paid for.
