Rap Nacional se llama el primer sencillo de Ashé, opera prima de Sekou, integrante de la legendaria agrupación de HipHop cubano Anónimo Consejo. El tema resume a todo el Rap Latinoamericano en común asumiendo su diversidad creativa y de discurso. Una vez fui invitado a un evento junto a otras grupos de Rap Cubano a compartir tarima con estudiantes de USA que venían con el difunto reverendo Lucious Walker y la organización Pastores por La Paz. Toda la música de Rap que pusieron los Djs cubanos invitados ese dia, por mas de 4 horas fue de Rap de USA. Esto lo he visto en otros lugares también, anulando la buena calidad de exponentes que existen de nuestra parte, el desagrado que esto me causa fue el detonante para escribir este tema. Mas que nada para asumir que lo nuestro vale también y tiene buena calidad. Rap Nacional es una colaboración con Apolonia integrante de la pionera agrupacion de rap venezolano, La Corte (rap ,coros, apoyos), Kokino (apoyos- coros), la música fue compuesta por Sekou y Alían Acosta y ejecutada por Alían Acosta Núñez (bajo), Lázaro Perovic ( guitarra eléctrica y teclados) y Luis López (Drum). Voces e instrumentos grabados por Moisés Whittaker Alvarez en Mo Récords, La Habana. Drum grabado por Luis López en Solodrum Studios, Caracas. Rap Nacional (national rap) is name of the debut single taken from Ashé, first solo album of Sekou, member of the legendary Cuban Hiphop group Anónimo Consejo. The track resumes the entire Latinamerican Rap movement assuming its speech and creative diversity. I once was invited to an event alongside some other Cuban rap groups. We shared stage with students from the United States that were there thanks to the late Reverend Lucious Walker and the Pastors for Peace organization. All the rap music played by the Cuban Djs who were invited that day was, for more than 4 hours, rap FROM the United States. Ive seen this in other places in the world, canceling the good quality of the local artists that exist on our end. The dislike that this caused me triggered the reason to write this song. Its merely to own the fact that our stuff is worth it and it also has good quality. Rap Nacional is a collaborative effort with Apolonia, member of the Venezuelan pioneer rap group La Corte, Kokino backs it up, music composed by Sekou and Alian Acosta and executed by Alían Acosta Núñez (bass), Lázaro Perovic ( electric guitar , keyboards), Luis López (Drum).
