Rapper Wiley has said he won’t return the money he was paid to perform at Cockrock – but he might return to the county and play next year free of charge.The Londoner is being sued by festival organisers after walking off to boos after just 15 minutes, then posting a series of insults on Twitter, attacking the festival and calling Cumbrians “witch’s children”, “pagans” and “cretins”. In a statement, he claimed he left the stage because the crowd became “dangerous” and threw coins and glass bottles at him. But Marie Whitehead, of cnevents, which ran the festival, rejected the claim, saying it was a glass-free event. Wiley has said he is “obviously” not giving the money back, but in a fresh Twitter posting last night he said: “The best I can do is play for you next year for free. @CockRock”. WHY the hell would we want him back after all the shit he has called us ??????????
