Rare opportunity to join one of the worlds leading authorities in the design and manufacture of complex engineered components. This is a newly created role that requires a seasoned HRM Generalist to form part of the senior management team charged with launching a new purpose built manufacturing plant in the North-West. Commutable from: Liverpool, Manchester, St Helens, Warrington, Chester, Runcorn Salary: £ 40,000 - £ 50,000 p.a. + Benefits Suitable for: Senior HR Officer, Human Resource Manager, Head of HR The Role: This is a key appointment, requiring you to shape the development and implementation of HR policies and processes as part of this new plant start-up, backed up by substantial investment and ambitious growth plans Operating as a key member of the management team, you will ensure that HR fully serves the business needs, including people planning & resourcing, performance management, training & development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations. Lead all organisational development and change management initiatives across the business. Support management team in the development of leadership and people management skills through coaching, engagement and development interventions, as appropriate. Ensure smooth running of industrial relationships by acting as interface between management, employee representation and employees. Co-ordinate training needs analysis and implementation to ensure that training and development interventions are prioritised to meet key business objectives within budget requirements. Ensure accurate and timely monthly and quarterly reporting on HR metrics, including recruitment efficiency, training efficiency, headcount & turnover figures, absenteeism etc. Working as part of the senior Management team. The Person Armed with at least five years generalist HR experience gained in a world class manufacturing environment (high volume preferred), you will be a results focused individual with a can-do attitude and pragmatic outlook. Previous experience of operating on a plant / self-standing basis coupled with experience of operating at Senior Management level is also essential. A proven track record of organisational and interpersonal skills plus best practice knowledge gained in employment law.
