Rarely do I ever complain on facebook but I just have to say I really dislike the term MAN-UP What the heck is MAN-UP? We dont say WOMEN-UP do we? I promise if you tell a man to Man-Up it wont do anything for him. I understand that the term is implying a man to be a man but the truth is, a simple term is not going to change a thing. If we want men to be men we must start by teaching/encouraging our males to Respect, Protect, and Take Responsibility. The next time you want a man to Man-up start by having enough respect to explain to that man what it means to respect his self and others, protect his loved ones and that which belongs to him, and take responsibility for his choices. Here are some phrases that will get a mans attention: I need you I wanna trust you more with the things that matter to me and you how can I show you more respect? what does taking responsibility mean to you? I promise those phrases will resonate way more than just telling a man to man-up. #iAmAMan
