Rarely it happens that someone after passing out from IIM-A refuses heavy pay packages, and rather decides to do something for his community and area.. This story is about Kaushlendra (topper of IIM-A 2007 batch), who refused to join a MNC because he wanted to do something for Bihar. Today his NGO helps more than 5,000 farmers in Bihar, handholding them to improve their production, train them in best practices of farming, help them in a better supply chain system to let their products reach to retail outlets, empower them through a better understanding of finance, and ultimately improving the lives of farmers. In a way its giving a boost to the confidence of having farming as an enterprise in Bihar. Recently he is appointed as Founding Curator for the Patna Hub of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shaper Community.
