Rastafari Traditional Healers-Dingaka tsa Ma-Rasta/Izinyanga za Ma-Rasta. Rastafari Traditional Healers are more visible in the Eastern Cape where we are right now,in the Southern Cape and the Western Cape where we were few months ago. We are not talking about Sangomas in Rastafari.We are talking about Rastafari Herbalists not those initiated outside of Rastafari. Here we wanna reason about the difference between Rastafari Traditional Healers and Afrikan Traditional Healers in Rastafari. Rastafari Traditional Healers deals strictly with herbs.They are found in major cities of this three above mentioned provinces selling herbs and freely sharing their knowledge of herbs to anyone who seek to know. They do not slaughter goats,perform the rituals of the Ancestors or get into trance or claim gift of visions. They are Ital in Livity,is actually this Ital Livity which inspired them into herbology. Whenever you are sitting around with them they are always willing to mix herbs and begin sharing the herbal tea. Eversince the advent of Bakehase advocating Cultural Revolution and defending Traditional Healers in Rastafari,the two practice is often confused. Bakehase even earned names like Sangomas and Goat Slaughters even though there is no single Bakehase Gathering on record where Bakehase Slaughter Goats and Initiate Sangomas in its Order. There is no evidence of things it was accused of except an established tradition in the movement to lie about those they dont agree with.
