Rather disappointed with secondary school philosophy - what a results obsessed, load of old nonsense of sausage factories most are. Wed do well to have a couple of Steiner or forest school options round here. How many students really discover their passions, the true joy of learning or how to discover their full potential? Instead, our precious little rounds are squeezed into square holes and measures by nonsensical achievements that will reveal nothing about their real abilities in anything creative, free thinking or truly inventive. Teachers are bogged down implementing ridiculous time consuming rules like whether socks match, energy filled boys are made to we war sensible shows they cant run around properly in then we tell them off for fidgeting in class. Is this what we have children for? I bet its not why most teachers went into teaching to spend hours dealing with petty bureaucracy rather than passing on the joy of their subject.
