Rather important scenario and follow-up question for you all. This is actually kind of important. Scenario: You are cooking something that requires occasional stirring. It is either liquid or made of tiny parts that will stick to the spoon/whisk, whatever. You are done stirring and its time to put the stirring utensil back from whence it was grabbed for use. Question: When you tap the rim of the pot to get rid of the excess do you merely do so until the excess is gone or do you use a favorite rhythm to get the job done? As I said, this is kind of important. At least as important as the toilet paper over/under debate.
