Rather than a gbu I want to say a massive thank you. Only when dropping the kids off to school this morning did I realise what a huge impact the weekend has had on them and bear with me as this may turn into a long post explaining it.... 1. The kids telling their friends and teachers that they spent the weekend with Elves and Fairies and Princess Estelle showed me how immersed they were in camp and how believable everyone was 2. Last night they asked me if I knew we were getting starfall and I had to admit that I hadnt the foggiest idea what was going on as it never occured to me that Oak asking them to help forage was anything more than a kind gesture to entertain them for a while .... blew my mind .... still blowing my mind ..... 3. I asked their favourite part of the event and had Ita reply everyone talked to me and I made friends Wow! Tabitha said not the wasps lol 4. Watching them take their lucky bags and character cards into school for show and tell .... lets see what their teachers make of that eh? 5. Seeing them take ownership of finding starfall and taking pride in being Algaian boasting about my camp to the other children there is fantastic. My camp helped me make a potion My camp has more cake than yours and so on and so on .... So all in all I love this new found hobby of mine but this weekend has shown me that I enjoy it even more when seeing how much my girls got out of it. Thanks to all Algaia for every single one of you contributed to that magical weekend and beyond for me and my girls ....
