Rather than just taking their recent victory regarding the constitutionality of HB4029 and moving forward, the city is now spending more of your tax dollars asking the previous ruling in Marion Co. to be overturned, and to force the 21 property owners who have successfully deannexed back into the city. Another example of just not understanding how to govern. Do they honestly think that this will drive people to accept the Spinnett Comp Plan? Forcing citizens that dont want to be in the city, back into it! Absolutely ridiculous. We are hopeful that this will drag out, and the new Council when seated will remove the existing members of the Planning Commission, and instruct the City Attorney to cease any action against those citizens. Let the go in peace, and move forward to a new day.
